SNZ Car Rental : Booking & Protection Policy

1. Booking Confirmation (Pre-payment)

To confirm your reservation, a Booking Pre-payment is required.

Cancellation > 48 Hours: 50% of the booking pre-payment is refunded.

Cancellation < 48 Hours / No-Show: The booking pre-payment is non-refundable (100% retained).

 

2. Security Deposit Policy (The SNZ Advantage)

No Security Deposit: SNZ Car Rental does NOT require a Security Deposit or any credit card authorization "hold" at the time of pick-up.

Travel with Freedom: Unlike other agencies that block €1,500+ on your card, we leave your funds available for your holiday.

 

3. Vehicle Protection Packages

A. Basic Insurance (Included): No daily fee. Includes Third-Party Liability. Client is responsible for the Full Market Value of the vehicle in case of damage or theft.

B. Intermediate Cover (+€5/day): Reduces liability (Excess) to €1,000. Excludes Tyres, Glass, and Undercarriage.

C. Standard Cover (+€10/day): Reduces liability (Excess) to €550. Excludes Tyres and Glass.

D. Premium Cover (+€35/day): Zero Excess (€0). Includes coverage for Tyres and Glass.

 

4. Mandatory Conditions

Police Report: A valid Mauritius Police Report is mandatory for any claim. Without it, the client is liable for the full cost of repairs.

Exclusions: Regardless of the plan, the client is 100% liable for interior damage, key loss, misfuelling, or gross negligence (DUI/Off-roading).
